Carpicon is commonly used to treat chronic venous insufficiency, a condition characterised by inadequate functioning of the venous system, especially in the legs. This condition can lead to symptoms such as pain, heaviness in the legs, swelling and tingling. Thanks to its content of plant extracts with venotonic properties, Carpicon helps to strengthen the venous wall, thereby improving blood circulation and reducing the associated discomfort.

Varicose veins are dilated veins, usually in the legs, that become visible under the skin. They are often accompanied by pain and swelling. Carpicon can be used to relieve the symptoms of varicose veins by reducing inflammation and discomfort, but it does not cure them permanently. However, it can improve the quality of life for patients with varicose veins.

Haemorrhoids are a common condition that can cause discomfort, bleeding and itching in the rectal area. Carpicon has anti-inflammatory and venotonic properties that help reduce inflammation and symptoms associated with haemorrhoids. Carpicon suppositories are designed for rectal administration, making them suitable for the treatment of internal and external haemorrhoids.

One of the most important contraindications for Carpicon is the presence of an allergy or sensitivity to any of the components or ingredients in this medicine. People who have had allergic reactions to the herbal extracts contained in Carpicon or any other ingredient should avoid using this medicine.

Carpicon is a medicine in the form of suppositories that are administered rectally. Its use is contraindicated in cases of open skin lesions or active bleeding in the rectal area. Applying Carpicon in these conditions could aggravate the lesions or bleeding and cause additional discomfort.

People who have had severe allergic reactions to other medicines or similar products, such as other suppositories or creams with herbal extracts, should be cautious and avoid using Carpicon, as they may be at increased risk of serious allergic reactions.

Carpicon is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, as its safety and efficacy in this age group have not been established.

Each Carpicon suppository contains standardised extracts from plants such as Hamamelis virginiana and Aesculus hippocastanum.

Carpicon can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only under medical supervision. Talk to your doctor before starting treatment.
