Basic principles of healthy digestion: what helps keep your stomach healthy
Description Chaga
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Chaga is a mushroom cultivated in the forests of northern Siberia and Canada, different from most therapeutic mushrooms in its biological cycle, which includes its development on the bark of mature birch trees.
What properties does Chaga have?
Chaga is used to treat various lung and stomach conditions, viral infections, metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases. It has been observed to have an immunomodulatory effect in patients with AIDS.
Chaga is considered one of the most powerful antioxidant substances. It is the mushroom with the highest value on the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) scale, 1,104 units per gram, a value that exceeds both currants and pomegranates, two extracts known for their antioxidant effects.
Chaga provides the antioxidants needed to repair DNA and RNA molecules; neutralises free radicals at the cellular level; restores the structure of the cell membrane; optimises cellular oxygenation processes; provides nutritional support to the mitochondria, which is the cell's energy ‘factory’; has anti-inflammatory, immunostimulatory and immunomodulatory effects;
and has analgesic properties.
How should Chaga be administered?
It is recommended to take 2 capsules 3 times a day, for a minimum of 9 months and a maximum of 24 consecutive months.
Chaga C-Max is also available, which contains additional vitamin C. This should be taken 1 capsule twice a day, preferably on an empty stomach or as advised by a specialist therapist.
For prevention and maintenance, 1 capsule between meals daily or every other day is recommended.
What is Chaga extract tincture?
Inonotus obliquus extract is available in 30 ml or 50 ml bottles with a pipette.
The 30 ml bottle can be used for 21-40 days, and the 50 ml bottle for 35-70 days.
The mushrooms are organically grown.
Ultrasonic extraction technology was used to produce these extracts. Thanks to this technology, the cell walls of the fungus, which are made of chitin, are broken down to increase the bioavailability of the compounds in the liquid extract. This type of extraction ensures that the extracts contain the full spectrum of bioactive compounds.
100% of the fruiting body of the fungus was used to produce the tinctures. This means that no mushroom mycelium grown on sawdust or cereals was used, which would have resulted in a product containing less than 30% mushroom.
It is recommended to take a maximum of 2 ml/day (2 pipettes/day), 1 pipette has a volume of 0.7-1 ml (one press of the pipette).
Due to the fact that the extracts are highly concentrated, it is recommended that the products be consumed regularly, initially in smaller quantities (1 pipette/day), and then the quantity should be increased gradually.
It is recommended to take it with a glass of water or any natural fruit juice. The vitamin C in fruit contributes to the assimilation of the compounds in the extract.
A one-week break is recommended after 3 months of daily consumption.
The tincture is contraindicated for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and anyone who has been prohibited or restricted from consuming alcohol.
How is Chaga tea prepared?
Extraction with water is the best way to extract nutrients from chaga. Boiling water is not recommended, as high temperatures can destroy the polysaccharide complex and melanin. Chaga has a smell and taste similar to coffee and can be consumed instead of coffee. Heat one litre of boiling water to approximately 50 degrees Celsius and add 2-3 tablespoons of Chaga powder. Cover and leave to infuse for 10-12 hours. Store the Chaga tea in a dry place, in a glass container, away from light. The tea prepared in this way can be consumed for 14 days, and the remaining product can be reused 5 more times. Chaga can be stored for 2 years in good conditions if kept in a dark, dry place.
Another method of preparation:
Add one teaspoon of chopped mushrooms to a cup (200 ml) of water at 50 degrees and leave to infuse for half an hour. Filter and then drink one cup a day, in small sips throughout the day. Take 30 minutes before meals for 3-5 months, with a 7-10 day break after each month of administration.
