Coenzyme Q10 is a fat-soluble substance, the main component of mitochondria, and is used to produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate) energy, which is essential in the body for cell growth and maintenance. Coenzyme Q10 – recommended daily dose
The daily dose of coenzyme Q10 that should be consumed is 90-200 mg per day, as determined after consultation. Higher doses of approximately 1200 mg per day may be useful for Parkinson's patients to slow functional decline.
