Colilen IBS is a modern solution for treating irritable bowel syndrome, a condition characterised by various symptoms of varying intensity, which can vary from person to person.
When is Colilen recommended?
Colilen IBS is recommended for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, which manifests itself through abdominal pain, bloating, discomfort and distension, accompanied or not by changes in the appearance of stools and irregular bowel movements (constipation or diarrhoea or an alternation of the two).
Through its protective action, Colilen IBS gradually reduces intestinal discomfort. Depending on the intensity of the symptoms, it is recommended to extend the treatment from 2 to 6 weeks and repeat the treatment if the symptoms reappear.
What does Colilen contain and how does it work?
The active substances in Colilens IBS are:
- ActiMucin, a molecular complex from resins (from Frankincense) - frankincense has beneficial effects for people suffering from inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. It works by reducing inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract and protecting the intestine and digestive tract.
- Polysaccharides (from Aloe vera) - Aloe Vera is effective in counteracting the symptoms of gastric reflux and establishing an alkaline level in the body. It has a soothing effect on the gastric mucosa and reduces acidity and discomfort. Thanks to its laxative properties, it also helps treat constipation.
- Polyphenols (from Chamomile and Lemon Balm) - Chamomile has powerful antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties, which are effective in treating stomach cramps and intestinal cramps. It also reduces problems related to intestinal transit and relieves bloating and can treat problems such as irritable bowel syndrome, gastroenteritis and nausea.
- Also contains: cumin, microcrystalline cellulose, fennel essential oil. Capsule made from plant-based polysaccharides.
Colilens IBS capsules work through the patented molecular complex ActiMucin, composed of resins, polysaccharides and polyphenols. Through a physical-mechanical mechanism, ActiMucin interacts with the surface of the intestinal mucosa and forms a protective film that prevents the mucosa from coming into contact with irritants.
How is Colilen administered?
It is recommended to take 2 capsules 3 times a day, before meals or after meals. Colilen IBS can also be used in combination with other symptomatic treatments during acute phases of discomfort.
Does Colilen have any contraindications?
Colilens is indicated for patients aged 8 years and older.
Colilen is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more of the product's ingredients.
Colilens should be stored at room temperature and away from light and heat sources. Keep out of the reach and sight of small children.
