Dicoflor

Dicoflor is available in several forms of release, drops, capsules or sachets.

For example, Dicoflor Baby comes in the form of drops containing freeze-dried live cultures of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG bacteria. Five drops contain 5 x 10^9 CFU (colony-forming units of bacteria) and are specially formulated to be easily accepted by the youngest users.

Dicoflor 6 is available in the form of capsules, containing 6 x 10^9 CFU of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG in each capsule. This form is intended for users over 3 years of age and is convenient for daily consumption.

The Dicoflor complex supplement is indicated for:

• Supporting intestinal flora - It is useful in cases of intestinal flora imbalance, often caused by antibiotic therapy
• Improving digestion - Contributes to healthy digestion and reduces gastrointestinal discomfort
• Strengthening the immune system - Supplementation with Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG helps strengthen the immune response, reducing the risk of gastrointestinal infections.
• Use during climate change - It is recommended in autumn and winter or when travelling, when the body is exposed to new conditions.

For Dicoflor Baby, the recommended dose is 5-10 drops per day, taken with meals and diluted in liquid at a temperature below 37°C. Dicoflor drops for newborns, children and adults should be shaken well before use to obtain a homogeneous suspension.

For Dicoflor 6, the usual dose is 1-2 capsules per day, which can be swallowed with a glass of liquid or opened and consumed with a cold or warm liquid.

The use of Dicoflor is contraindicated in the following situations:

• Allergies to ingredients - People with hypersensitivity to Lactobacillus rhamnosus or other components of the product should avoid use.
• Immunodeficiencies - In case of severe immune system disorders, it is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

Dicoflor should be used exactly as directed on the packaging, following the dosage instructions to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Dicoflor can be integrated into a balanced diet to help improve intestinal health, but it should not replace a varied diet that includes nutrient-rich foods.

Although Dicoflor is considered safe, some side effects may occur.

• Users may experience symptoms such as gas, bloating or diarrhoea, especially in the first few days of use.
• Although rare, allergic reactions such as skin rashes, itching or swelling may occur, especially in people who are sensitive to the product's ingredients.

Although Dicoflor can be useful in restoring the intestinal flora after antibiotic therapy, it is best to take it at a different time from antibiotics so as not to reduce their effectiveness.

People undergoing treatment with immunosuppressive drugs should consult a specialist before using Dicoflor, as there may be risks associated with taking probiotics in these situations.

Although overdose with Dicoflor is rare, it is important to follow the recommended dose. Excessive consumption may lead to bloating, diarrhoea or severe abdominal cramps.

To maintain the effectiveness of Dicoflor, it is important that it is stored correctly in a cool, dry place. Dicoflor does not require refrigeration, but should be kept away from moisture and excessive heat.
