Helicostop is recommended in the following cases:

• Helicostop can be used in the treatment of gastric or duodenal ulcers, helping to inhibit the growth of Helicobacter pylori bacteria responsible for these conditions and reduce inflammation of the gastric mucosa.
• Helicostop helps relieve the symptoms associated with acute gastritis, including abdominal pain and discomfort, through its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
• In cases of chronic gastritis with the presence of Helicobacter pylori bacteria, Helicostop can be used as part of the treatment to eradicate this bacteria and protect the gastric mucosa from inflammation and further damage.
• Helicostop may be recommended for functional dyspepsia, helping to reduce abdominal discomfort, bloating and heartburn.

Helicostop should not be administered in the following situations:

Hypersensitivity to any of the product's components.

Each Helicostop capsule contains the following active ingredients:

• Hydrastis canadensis rhizome extract standardised to min. 10% berberine sulphate 392 mg
• Poplar buds (Populi gemmae)
• Mastic resin extract (Pistacia lentiscus) 34.3 mg
• Stone lichen (Lichen islandicus)
• Clove essential oil (Caryophyllorum aetheroleum)

The recommended dose for adults is 1-2 Helicostop capsules 3 times a day, before meals.

There is insufficient clinical data on the use of Helicostop during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, in such situations, it is necessary to consult a doctor before taking this medicine.

It is not recommended to consume alcohol during treatment with Helicostop, as it may influence the effectiveness of the medicine and increase the risk of side effects.

There is no information available on the influence of Helicostop on the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery. However, if side effects occur that may affect attention or coordination, it is recommended not to drive vehicles or use dangerous machinery.
