Hepadep

Hepadep Dr. Phyto is available as an oral solution, packaged in a 50 ml bottle, intended for direct administration or dissolution in a small amount of water. The bottle comes with a dropper for precise dosing (0.5 ml = 8 drops), suitable for all age groups, from infants to adults.

Hepadep solution is indicated in multiple disorders and conditions associated with liver function, both prophylactically and therapeutically:

• Supporting liver function in the context of potentially hepatotoxic drug treatments
• Hepatic cytolysis of various etiologies
• Hepatic steatosis (fatty liver)
• Hepato-biliary dysfunction (biliary dyskinesia, cholestasis, liver inflammation)
• Hepatic digestive symptoms: nausea, feeling of fullness, intolerance to fatty foods, flatulence
• Loss of appetite (lack of appetite)
• Adjuvant support in the treatment of dyslipidemia (high cholesterol)

The recommended dose is adjusted according to age:

• Infants 6 months – 1 year: 0.5 ml 3 times a day (administered directly into the mouth)
• Children 1 – 3 years: 1 ml twice a day
• Children 3–6 years: 1.5 ml twice daily
• Children 6–12 years: 2 ml twice daily
• Adults: 3 ml twice daily

The product can be administered undiluted or dissolved in a small amount of water, before or after meals. Shake the bottle well before use.

Hepadep is not recommended for people with known hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.

Caution is also advised in patients with severe hypertension or heart failure due to the glycyrrhizin content of licorice, which may affect sodium retention and blood pressure.

Hepadep is distinguished by its composition based exclusively on standardized plant extracts, each with a specific hepatoprotective mechanism of action: licorice, dandelion, artichoke, fennel, chamomile, and angelica.

The supplement is intended for both adults and children and has a safety profile suitable for medium-term use. The taste is adapted for pediatric use and is naturally sweetened.

Hepadep is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects include:

• Rarely, allergic skin reactions (rash, itching)
• Mild gastrointestinal disorders (bloating, abdominal cramps)
• Increased blood pressure in case of excessive or prolonged use, due to glycyrrhizin in licorice extract

If any unusual reactions occur, administration should be discontinued and the user should consult a doctor.

No major interactions of Hepadep with other drugs have been reported.

However, due to the presence of glycyrrhizin, caution is advised when taking it with antihypertensive or diuretic drugs to avoid electrolyte imbalances.

If you are taking medication for severe chronic diseases, talk to your doctor before taking Hepadep.

In case of accidental overdose, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, and gastrointestinal irritation may occur. It is recommended to stop taking the medication immediately and start symptomatic treatment. In severe cases, medical monitoring is necessary.

Hepadep should be stored at temperatures below 25°C, away from light, moisture, and freezing. After opening, the bottle should be tightly closed and used within the period indicated on the package. Keep out of the reach of small children.
