Basic principles of healthy digestion: what helps keep your stomach healthy
Description Kombucha
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Kombucha is a colony of 12 species of microorganisms that live together in symbiosis. The colony is composed of ‘friendly’ bacteria and fungi that transform the active ingredients of black tea and the sugar in which they grow into substances with remarkable healing properties.
What does Kombucha contain?
The chemical analysis of this fungus is not fully known, but it is known to contain large amounts of vitamin C and B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6, B12), which give it rejuvenating properties and stimulate the body's natural resistance.
It also contains very powerful antiviral and antibiotic substances and substances with hormonal effects. It is recommended for both the elderly and children.
How is Kombucha obtained?
Add 2 teaspoons of black tea to a litre of boiling water. Cover, leave to infuse for 30 minutes, strain and mix with 100 grams of sugar. Leave the tea to cool completely, then pour into a wide-mouthed jar.
Add a gelatinous layer of Kombucha and some yeast from an old culture to the jar and cover the mouth of the jar with gauze. Leave the tea to stand for 8 to 12 days, then filter it. After 12 days, filter through gauze and pour the liquid into small bottles, which should be kept in a cool place and used within 15 days. The gelatinous mass of Kombucha can be used for new cultures.
It is also sold in capsule form containing powdered Kombucha extract.
Take 1 capsule 3 times a day before meals, 15 days a month for 4-5 months.
