Laridep is a dietary supplement based on plant extracts and sweeteners, recommended for the prevention and treatment of inflammation of the oropharyngeal tract. Laridep is available in the form of lozenges and oral spray.
What are the main ingredients of Laridep formulas?
Laridep formulas consist of a synergistic combination of standardised plant extracts of cultivated thyme, echinacea, acerola, propolis and liquorice. Sodium hyaluronate is also added.
What effects does Laridep have on the oral and pharyngeal mucosa?
Laridep is a unique complex of standardised phytoextracts with anti-inflammatory, emollient and protective effects on the oral and pharyngeal mucosa. The sodium hyaluronate in its composition has an emollient and moisturising action, relieving the feeling of dryness caused by inflammation of the oropharyngeal tract. Echinacea has antibacterial properties due to the presence of echinacosides, with proven bacteriostatic and antifungal action. Licorice, through glycyrrhizin, has anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory action by stimulating phagocytosis by neutrophils and increasing the production of interferon, important processes in fighting infections.
What symptoms does Laridep relieve and how does it help fight oropharyngeal conditions?
Laridep reduces inflammation of the oropharyngeal mucosa, soothes pain and local dryness caused by inflammation, forms a protective film and inhibits the multiplication of viruses at this level, while also regenerating the oropharyngeal mucosa.
What are the indications for Laridep lozenges and Laridep oral spray?
Laridep lozenges and Laridep oral spray are indicated for the prevention and treatment of inflammation of the oropharyngeal tract and are useful in pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, aphthae, herpangina, gingivitis, etc.
How are Laridep lozenges administered?
For children over 12 years of age and adults, 2 tablets 3 times/day are recommended; in the acute phase of the disease (the first 36 hours), 2 tablets may be taken every 3-6 hours, with a maximum of 8 tablets/day. For children aged 6-12 years, the dose is one tablet 3 times a day or a maximum of 4 tablets per day during the acute phases of the disease.
