Renofix
Description Renofix
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Renofix is a complex dietary supplement with a formula based on plant powders obtained from four medicinal plants with known effects on the urinary tract: nettle (Urtica dioica), horsetail (Equisetum arvense), chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) and blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus).
Thanks to its natural composition, Renofix Stancosimagne can significantly help relieve symptoms associated with urinary tract infections and kidney stones through a synergistic action involving the bioelements silicon and colloidal magnesium, naturally extracted from plants.
Forms of release
Renofix is available in the form of capsules, each containing a combination of carefully dosed plant powders to ensure therapeutic efficacy and increased tolerability. This pharmaceutical form allows for easy administration and rigorous control of the daily dose for both adults and children over 6 years of age.
The pack contains 75 capsules, sufficient for a complete 12-day course of treatment according to the recommended treatment regimen.
Indications for use
Renofix capsules are indicated in the following clinical situations:
- supporting the treatment of acute or recurrent urinary tract infections;
- reducing urinary discomfort (burning, pain, frequent urination);
- relieving pelvic or abdominal pain associated with cystitis;
- promoting physiological diuresis by keeping the urinary tract permeable;
- supporting the natural process of eliminating small kidney stones;
- maintaining an optimal pH level in the kidneys to prevent the formation of new stones.
Dosage regimen
The administration regimen is phased, with doses adjusted progressively over 12 days, as follows:
- Days 1–3: 1 capsule every 1–2 hours during the day (maximum 10 capsules/day);
- Days 4–6: 1 capsule every 2 hours (maximum 7 capsules/day);
- Days 7–12: 1 capsule every 3 hours (maximum 4 capsules/day).
For children aged 6 to 12 years, the recommended daily dose is 3-5 capsules for 5-7 days, followed by a mandatory microbiological analysis of the urine. In case of recurrence of the infection, the treatment can be repeated for another 2-3 courses, as directed by a specialist.
Contraindications
To date, no significant contraindications for the administration of Renofix have been reported when the recommended doses are followed. However, the product is not recommended:
- people with known hypersensitivity to any of the plant ingredients;
- patients with severe renal impairment, without medical advice;
- children under 6 years of age, due to lack of safety data.
Special instructions for use
Due to its well-tolerated nature, Renofix can also be used for prophylactic purposes in people with a tendency to recurrent urinary tract infections or kidney stones.
In children, administration should be under adult supervision, following medical instructions and performing control tests.
Side effects
The product has been well tolerated when used as recommended. No relevant adverse reactions have been reported. However, as with any herbal product, mild allergic skin reactions (itching, rashes) may occasionally occur, especially in people who are sensitive to nettle or chamomile.
If unusual reactions occur, stop taking the product and consult your doctor.
Interactions with other medicines and food
No significant drug interactions have been observed in current practice. However, it is advisable to inform your doctor about any other medicines you are taking for chronic conditions to avoid possible interactions.
Consumption of foods rich in oxalates (e.g. spinach, rhubarb) should be reduced during treatment to prevent the formation of oxalate stones.
Overdose
In rare cases of accidental administration of an increased number of capsules, adverse effects such as abdominal discomfort may occur.
In case of overdose, adequate hydration is recommended and, if symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
Storage conditions
Renofix urinary tract infections should be stored in the original packaging at room temperature (15–25°C), away from moisture and direct light. Keep out of the reach of small children. It is recommended to store in dry, ventilated areas without large temperature fluctuations.
