Description Tractopon
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Tractopon cream contains a combination of a low-fat emollient base with ingredients that have beneficial properties for rough, dry skin and/or skin prone to thickening (hyperkeratosis).
What are the benefits of Tractopon?
Tractopon cream for dry skin is the product with the highest content of emollient ingredients and urea (30%), specially designed for the intensive care of certain areas: elbows, knees, soles of the feet, fingers and palms, when they are cracked, excessively dry and flaky.
Tractopon 30% urea cream is also an adjuvant in the treatment of psoriasis and nail fungus.
The cream improves skin condition and is recommended for the daily care of skin prone to dryness and hyperkeratosis, while also helping to care for and moisturise the nails. In addition, it increases the absorption of medicated creams.
The formula with 15% urea content is also recommended for the skin care of diabetics, whose skin is prone to dryness and flaking. Its protective effect keeps away trauma and infections.
What ingredients does Tractopon contain?
Tractopon cream contains the following ingredients:
Urea, which has the benefit of moisturising the stratum corneum (visibly improving the appearance of flaky, dry and cracked skin), slows down excessive or chaotic growth of the stratum corneum and removes flaky skin. Due to certain conditions, the stratum corneum flakes off at an accelerated rate or produces thickened, rough areas that turn into calluses.
Vitamin F is made up of a mixture of polyunsaturated fatty acids, of which linolenic and linoleic acids are essential for the skin. Thanks to their emollient, protective and nourishing properties, when applied topically, they produce a remarkable improvement in scaly, dry and devitalised skin, as they play an important role in regenerating the elements responsible for maintaining the flexibility and cohesion of the stratum corneum and skin hydration.
Lanolin is a mixture of fatty compounds very similar to the skin's natural lipids. It helps to replace and maintain an optimal level of lipids in the epidermis, preserves flexibility and prevents flaking and dehydration.
How is Tractopon used?
For feet: apply the cream once or twice a day. Wash and dry the skin, then apply the cream with a gentle massage, paying particular attention to dry and rough areas, as well as cracked heels. Regular use of the cream leads to very good results. After application, the cream does not leave a greasy film.
After treatment by a podiatrist to remove or reduce calluses and cracks, regular use of Tractopon cream slows down skin thickening and prolongs its good condition.
For skin that is not severely affected by dryness, as a general foot care measure, applying the cream 2-4 times a week is sufficient to keep the skin soft, moisturised and healthy-looking.
For the treatment of hands, knees, elbows and shins, apply once or twice a day or every other day, depending on the roughness and dryness of the skin. Massage gently until the cream is absorbed. No greasy film remains after application.
Regular use of Tractopon 15% urea cream protects and repairs the skin of hands exposed to cold and moisture.
What precautions should be taken with Tractopon?
Avoid applying the cream to bleeding cracks and areas with broken skin (cuts), as urea may cause itching in these areas.
