Triphala

Triphala is an ancient herbal remedy with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. Triphala can have laxative effects, causing diarrhoea or stomach upset, especially in higher doses. Patients should not take more than the recommended dose and should stop using Triphala if it causes diarrhoea or other side effects.
