The product has an acaricidal and tick-repellent effect which lasts for 4 weeks and 3 weeks respectively.
It is possible that ticks already present on the dog at the time of application of the treatment do not die during the following 2 days of application and may remain stuck and visible.
It is also recommended to remove ticks that are present during treatment to prevent them from attaching and starting to consume blood.
A single treatment ensures repellent activity on ticks and against sandflies for 2 or 3 weeks, against mosquitoes for 2 or 4 weeks and against flies for 4 weeks.
