On the sunny slopes of the Allgäu Alps, at altitudes between 800 and 1,400 meters, grows the resilient mountain pine. For years it withstands wind, weather, and stony soils. But its strength is not only evident in its protection against avalanches, but also in its health applications: its essential oil is a valuable ingredient in Allgäu mountain pine liniment.

To produce the mountain pine oil, thousands of plants are carefully cultivated and then planted on over 100 hectares of company-owned land in the Allgäu region. Harvesting begins only after 12 to 13 years – sustainably and for many years to come. The entire production process is subject to strict quality controls to obtain the Allgäu Mountain Pine Seal of Quality – a mark of purity, origin, and certified quality.

The extracted mountain pine oil is enriched with other selected active ingredients according to original recipes that have proven successful for decades. This process creates, among other things, a liniment used to promote blood circulation in the skin. Its liquid consistency allows it to absorb quickly and leaves no residue on the skin.
