Echinacea purpurea strengthens resistance and stimulates immune defenses . It is widely used to prevent or reduce the frequency and consequences of cold snaps, such as irritation of the throat and upper respiratory tract, often accompanied by viral or bacterial complications. Echinacea is also known to soothe the throat during colds.
Selenium, zinc and vitamin D3 are involved in the normal functioning of the immune system.
Zinc is supplied in a chelated form, that is, linked to an amino acid (glycine). Compared to other forms of zinc intake, this chelate has the dual advantage of improving its absorption (bioavailability) and protecting the stomach from possible irritation.

Vitamin D is an essential substance for the body. Our body produces vitamin D3 when the skin is exposed to the Sun. In food supplements, vitamin D is supplied in the form of D2 (ergocalciferol), different from the body's own D3 form, or in the form of D3 (cholecalciferol). The latter is generally of animal origin (lanolin from sheep's wool) or synthetic.
