Medi Kauf Braun's elastic gauze bandages are designed for the secure fixation of wound dressings and bandages. Their elasticity allows them to be easily applied to various parts of the body, ensuring a stable fit. The bandages are manufactured according to DIN 61634-FB and thus meet defined quality requirements for fixation bandages.

Area of ​​application and properties

These gauze bandages are specifically designed for securing dressings without serving as wound dressings themselves. Thanks to their elasticity, they can be applied smoothly and adapted to the individual body shape. They are untreated (bare) and therefore neutral in appearance.

Application

Wrap the gauze bandage snugly, but not tightly, around the affected area and secure the previously applied compress or wound dressing. Ensure the bandage lies evenly and does not slip. The bandage can be wrapped in several layers as needed.

Warning notices

Take care not to apply the gauze bandage too tightly to avoid circulatory problems. After applying the bandage, regularly check skin color, temperature, and sensation in the area of ​​the dressing.
