MamBiotic® – For a relaxed breastfeeding period | MamBiotic is a dietary supplement for breastfeeding mothers and contains the naturally occurring Lactobacillus fermentum CECT 5716 (LC40). Lactobacillus fermentum crosses the intestinal barrier and reaches the milk ducts via the lymphatic system after 2–3 days, where it contributes to a balanced milk duct flora.
A course of treatment can be supported at any time with classic externally applied therapies (e.g., quark compresses). Since LC40 is not a permanent colonizer, it disappears from the milk duct flora after consumption ceases. If necessary, a course of treatment can be extended or restarted at any time.
