neocate® is a food for special medical purposes. powdered infant formula based on non-allergenic amino acids, in a 400g box. It therefore does not contain cow's milk proteins or protein residues. Enriched with arachidonic acid, docosahexaenoic acid (dha) and nucleotides. Gluten and lactose free. Provides all the necessary nutrients to meet the needs of infants from birth to 1 year with an allergy to cow's milk proteins who do not respond to products with extensively hydrolyzed protein and/or multiple food allergies. \ \ Important note: \ \ To be administered under medical supervision. Not suitable for parenteral use. Also suitable for administration via catheter. Suitable as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 1 year of age. be used as part of a varied nutritional program. \ \ recommended dosage: \ \ the recommended dosage is determined only by the doctor or dietitian and depends on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. \ \ the average doses and number of meals are recommended as an indication, applying a usual dilution of 13.8% (1 level scoop per 30ml of water). It is possible that a lower reconstitution rate may be recommended at the beginning of treatment, with the aim of making the product more easily accepted. \ \ precautions for use: \ \ the meal must be prepared just before consumption. the meal must not be boiled or reheated in a microwave oven. if you use boiled water, let it cool for at least one hour before adding the neocate powder. \ \ instructions for use: \ \ for reasons of the infant's health, it is important to follow the preparation and use instructions exactly. any improper preparation may harm the baby's health. \ caution: to prepare the product, only the measuring cup included in the neocate packaging must be used. \ \ \ before each preparation, wash your hands carefully and clean the work surface. Make sure that the bottle and nipple are clean and sterile. \ insert the amount of water that you have previously boiled into the bottle and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. \ level the surface of the neocate® measuring cup with a clean and dry knife. \ \ \ add to the bottle the number of measuring cups corresponding to the amount you wish to prepare. close the bottle and shake it vigorously. check the temperature on your wrist before giving the bottle to the child. \ \ do not reheat it during consumption. Throw away any meal that has not been fully consumed within one hour of preparation. \ \ neocate® should be stored in a cool, dry place. After use, close the lid tightly. The product should be consumed within 1 month of opening. \
