Description
Food for special medical purposes, for the dietary management of patients with constipation. Prepared in powder form for dilution.
2-in-1 nutritional solution, naturally effective for constipation:
1. Clinically proven laxative action, softens stools and increases their frequency.
2. Rebalances the intestinal flora due to its prebiotic action, increasing the amount of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus.
OptiFibre acts in a natural, physiological and progressive way thanks to its unique ingredient, partially hydrolyzed guar gum.
Indicated for patients suffering from constipation, including children aged 3 years and over and pregnant or breastfeeding women.

How to use
*Use OptiFibre at the first signs of discomfort. The first laxative effects may appear within 48 to 72 hours, depending on individual sensitivity. To rebalance the intestinal flora, use OptiFibre for at least 14 days. Since OptiFibre acts naturally, its use can be repeated as directed by your doctor. Simple to use, it is easily integrated into your daily diet. It has a neutral taste and aroma and does not change the texture of food. Mix with any flat drink (such as coffee, fruit juices) or with hot or cold foods (such as yogurt, soups). Use OptiFibre gradually, adapting it according to your age, needs and the advice of your doctor. The daily dose should be distributed throughout the day and should not be exceeded without medical advice.
Adults: Start with 1 teaspoon per day and, if necessary, gradually increase by 1 teaspoon every 3 days. Never exceed 4 teaspoons per day (20 g).
Children ages 3 to 10: Start with 1/2 teaspoon per day and, if necessary, increase to 1 teaspoon starting on the 4th day.
Never exceed one cup per day (5 g).
Children aged 10 years and over: if necessary, increase the dose to 2 teaspoons starting on the 7th day (10 g).
Example: For an adult, from day 1 to day 3: 1 teaspoon per day (morning). If necessary, from day 4 to day 6: 2 teaspoons per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the evening).
If additional need: maximum 4 cups per day (during the day).

Conservation
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources. Shelf life in unopened packaging: 24 months.
Once opened, consume within 8 weeks. The prepared product should be consumed within 4 hours if stored at room temperature or within 24 hours if stored in the refrigerator.
