COMFEEL Plus

Description
A hydrocolloid adhesive dressing with rounded edges, also containing calcium alginate, which creates the ideal moist environment for healing skin lesions. The semi-permeable polyurethane film on the top facilitates the passage of water vapor and excess moisture to the outside of the dressing; the surface also features a useful and convenient grid for measuring the size of lesions. The dressing has a change indicator: the center whitens and signals the need to change the dressing when the white bubble expands to 1 centimeter from the edge.

How to use
Acute and chronic, low to moderately exuding skin lesions.
If deemed necessary, the dressing can be cut before use, without compromising its structural and performance characteristics.
Average dwell time (lowly to moderately exuding lesions and ulcers): 5 days.
Maximum stay: 7 days.

Components
Comfeel Plus is composed of 85% CMC and 15% Calcium Alginate, in particular: sodium carboxymethylcellulose, styrene-isoprene block copolymer, polycyclopentadiene, dioctyl adipate, titanium dioxide, calcium alginate, polyurethane film.
Comfeel Plus does not contain animal gelatin of any kind.

Warnings
In case of an allergic reaction, please contact Coloplast for information on the different components. Comfeel dressings must be removed before radiation treatments (X-rays, ultrasound, diathermy, and microwaves). Furthermore, Comfeel Plus should not be used on deep, undermined ulcers where there is a risk of their edges collapsing.

Conservation
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
