Elasticity: approx. 90%. Urgoband and Urgoband Duo are short-stretch compression bandages.

Area of ​​application:
For long-term treatment in compression therapy for chronic venous diseases, thromboembolic venous diseases, edema, and other indications. This product is indicated only in compression therapy with an ABPI of 0.8–1.3. It can also be used as a support and relief bandage for musculoskeletal injuries.

The Urgoband short-stretch bandage is a medical device. Please read the instructions in the package leaflet carefully and familiarize yourself thoroughly with the functions and use of the product before use.

Product features:

• Air-permeable.
• Skin-friendly
• High work pressure.
• Elastic along the length.
• Woven edges and washable.
• Sanitary pads retain their elasticity even with prolonged use.

Contraindications:

• Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease (if any of these parameters apply: ABPI < 0.5, ankle artery pressure < 60 mmHg, toe pressure < 30 mmHg or TcPO2 < 20 mmHg dorsum of the foot).
• Decompensated heart failure (NYHA III + IV).
• Septic phlebitis.
• Phlegmasia coerulea dolens.

Relative contraindications:

• Severe weeping dermatoses.
• Intolerance to compression material.
• Severe sensory disturbances of the extremity.
• Advanced peripheral neuropathy (e.g., in diabetes mellitus).
• Primary chronic polyarthritis.

A notice:

• Do not apply directly to open wounds. For use only on intact skin.
