The first non-hormonal cream against vaginal dryness

Vagisan HydroKrém is a white elastic cream that was developed for use in the clinical picture of vaginal dryness. Vagisan HydroCream does not contain hormones (estrogens) and can therefore be used together with hormone replacement therapy or alternatively with hormonal vaginal creams (estrogens) or vaginal suppositories. Due to the lactic acid content, the cream is set to a pH value of 4.5 - thus Vagisan HydroKrém supports the maintenance of the natural pH value in the vagina.

Two effects contribute to the fact that Vagisan HydroCrém relieves the difficulties of vaginal dryness

• the cream has a high water content, thanks to which moisture is supplied to the mucous membrane in the area of ​​the vagina and external genitalia;
• care lipids (fats) maintain the elasticity of the mucous membrane.

Regular use of Vagisan HydroKrém can help prevent irritation and inflammation in the vagina and in the area of ​​the external genitalia. The cream can be used for vaginal dryness before intercourse.

Mode of use

Vagisan HydroCream is intended for use in the vagina and on the skin of the external genitalia. For the treatment of vaginal symptoms, Vagisan HydroCrém is inserted into the vagina. The cream can be applied with or without the included applicator. When using the applicator, fill the applicator halfway (approx. 2.5 g of cream, see also "Instructions for use"). To facilitate the insertion of the applicator, you can also apply a small amount of cream to the area of ​​the vaginal entrance. If you prefer not to use the applicator, you can insert a strip of cream about 2 cm long into the vagina with a clean finger. This application should be done daily - preferably in the evening before going to bed (use a panty towel if necessary). After symptoms improve, frequency of use can be reduced as needed. For problems at the vaginal entrance and in the area of ​​the external genital organs, the cream is applied and spread with a clean finger, if possible several times a day; a strip of cream about 0.5 cm long is sufficient.

The use of the cream is also possible before sexual intercourse or during menstruation.

Vagisan moisturizing cream can be used for a long time if it is well tolerated, as well as during pregnancy (without applicator; see "Instructions for use during pregnancy") and breastfeeding.
