ACTIVLAB Glucose - lemon, 75g

Glucose is a sugar that contributes to normal energy metabolism. After oral administration, glucose is readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, metabolized in tissues, and partially stored in the liver as glycogen.

A 75g glucose intake is often recommended as part of a glucose tolerance test , which is used to diagnose diabetes or glucose intolerance. In this test, the patient consumes a drink containing 75g of glucose and then takes a series of blood sugar measurements at specific intervals.

Additionally, glucose supplementation may be recommended for athletes or those with an active lifestyle who need a quick energy boost. This is especially important during prolonged physical exertion, when the body depletes its glycogen stores and requires an immediate energy boost.

Recommended daily dose:

In cases of exhaustion or after physical exertion, dissolve the contents of the sachet in 250 ml of water and drink the solution. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Composition:

Glucose, acidity regulator - citric acid, natural lemon flavor. May contain derivatives of: cereals containing gluten, soy, milk.
