Description
Indicated for the control and prevention of urinary tract infections (cystitis) caused by pathogens such as E. coli and other Gram-negative bacteria frequently involved in the etiology of urological infections.
Monurelle Plus AF is an advanced formula based on Xyloglucan (Hemicellulose) and Gelose, which acts mechanically in the intestinal lumen, preventing pathogens from coming into contact with the intestinal mucosa, which is the first step for their proliferation and subsequent passage to the urinary tract. Monurelle Plus AF should be administered orally at the first appearance of urinary tract symptoms, in order to reduce the proliferation of pathogens that can degenerate into infections. In cases of recurrent infections, Monurelle Plus AF is also useful for preventing new episodes, in which the proliferation of pathogens causes repeated urinary tract infections.

How to use
Swallow the capsule with liquid.
In patients who develop the first symptoms of urinary disorders, Monurelle Plus AF should be administered orally twice daily (1 capsule every 12 hours) for 5 days.
To prevent relapses, take one capsule daily, for at least 15 consecutive days per month.
If necessary, the treatment can be repeated.
This medical device is intended for use in adult patients.

Xyloglucan, gelatin, propolis, Hibiscus sabdariffa, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable origin) and corn starch.

Gluten and lactose free.

warnings
- Diagnosis of urinary tract infection (UTI) must be made by a doctor.
If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, consult a doctor.
An acute urinary tract infection may require treatment with antibiotics.
This product does not have bactericidal or bacteriostatic properties and therefore cannot replace antibiotic treatment.
However, Monurelle Plus AF can be administered together with the antibiotic.
- It is recommended not to use the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless a healthcare professional recommends otherwise.
- Do not use the product after the expiration date written on the packaging.
- Do not take the product if the blister is open or damaged.
- Keep out of reach of children.

Conservation
Store between 2°C and 25°C.
Do not freeze.
Shelf life of intact packaging: 36 months.
