The manufacturers of the Surecheck pregnancy test claim that it can be used from the very first day of a missed menstrual period, at any time of the day or night.

How does the Surecheck pregnancy test work?

• The Surecheck pregnancy test detects HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin), a hormone that is present in urine immediately after conception.
• When 3-4 drops of urine come into contact with the Gold Gel Reagent, a pink line appears on the test.

When can I take my test?

• The Surecheck pregnancy test can be used from the first day of your missed period, at any time of the day or night.
• Typically, the first morning urine contains a higher concentration of the HCG hormone.
• Drinking large amounts of fluids can reduce the concentration of the hormone in the urine and cause an inaccurate result.

I have an irregular menstrual cycle. How do I know when to take my test?

• In this case, you can perform the test taking into account the longest period of your menstrual cycle.
• If the result is negative, the test should be repeated after 48 hours.
• If you are not sure when your cycle ends, we recommend testing 14 days after you assume conception occurred.

What should I do if I think the result is incorrect?

• Repeat the test after 48 hours if you get an incorrect result or if the line above the letter T is unclear.

Are there certain factors that can influence the result?

• Some pharmaceutical products such as Humegon, Pregnil, Profasi, Pergonal, APL may contain the HCG hormone and may influence the accuracy of the result.
• Oral contraceptives, antibiotics and alcohol consumption do not influence the accuracy of the result.
• Using the Surechek pregnancy test within 8 weeks after birth or abortion may result in a positive test result, due to the presence of the HCG hormone in the body.
