Chanca Piedra ( Phyllanthus niruri ) is a flowering plant widely used medicinally. It is cultivated worldwide in tropical and subtropical climates. It has thin twigs covered with leaves and can grow up to about 60 cm tall. The leaves, stems and flowers of the plant are used in chanca piedra supplementation. The Spanish name Chanca piedra means "brake" or "stone breaker".
