Antiviral

Antiviral can be found on the market in the following forms:

• Antiviral spray for the oral cavity, 15 ml, Plantamed;
• Antiviral echinacea and astragalus, 60 tablets, 1+1, Dacia Plant;
• Antiviral, 60 tablets, Dacia Plant.

Antiviral is a medicine with multiple indications in the treatment of viral infections, acting directly on viruses and inhibiting their ability to replicate. The main indications include:

• Antiviral is effective in the treatment of respiratory infections caused by viruses, such as influenza and infections caused by rhinoviruses or adenoviruses. By reducing viral replication, the medicine can help shorten the duration and severity of symptoms.
• Antiviral can be used to treat infections with the herpes simplex virus (HSV), responsible for recurrent lesions on the lips or genitals, as well as herpes zoster, which causes painful skin rashes.
• Hepatitis infections, such as hepatitis B and C, can be managed with Antiviral, reducing the viral load and slowing the progression of the disease. However, treatment requires rigorous medical monitoring.
• In some cases, Antiviral may be included in combination therapy for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. The drug can slow the progression of the disease and maintain the immune status within a more stable range.
• People with weakened immune systems are more vulnerable to severe viral infections. Antiviral can be used to prevent and treat these infections by providing additional immune support.
• In certain situations, Antiviral may be prescribed to prevent viral infections, for example, before major surgery or during the cold and flu season.

If you have had allergic or adverse reactions to Antiviral or any of its components in the past, do not use Antiviral.

If you have a history of serious heart problems, such as congestive heart failure, Antiviral may be contraindicated. The safety of Antiviral during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not fully known.

If you have a suppressed immune system due to illness or treatment, Antiviral may have a negative impact on your body's ability to fight other infections or may interact with other medicines used to manage immunosuppression.

Some neurological conditions, such as epilepsy or certain neuromuscular diseases, may be worsened by the use of Antiviral.
