Actiferol Fe® Baby is a food for special medical purposes in a liquid oral suspension.

The formula is suitable for dietary management to prevent iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia.

It is suitable for newborns, including premature infants with low birth weight, as well as infants and children.

Actiferol Fe® Baby uses a unique form of iron that has been micronized and emulsified. Micronization, or fine grinding, ensures high absorption of iron from ferric pyrophosphate.

The iron contained in Actiferol Fe® Baby is released in the intestines, not the stomach, so it does not cause gastrointestinal discomfort. Additionally, it does not stain teeth and does not produce a metallic aftertaste.

Indications:

• Food for special medical purposes for dietary management to prevent iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia
• For newborns, including premature infants with low birth weight, infants, and children.

Ingredients:

• Refined MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) palm kernel oil, starch, iron (ferric (III) diphosphate) (ferric (III) pyrophosphate), antioxidant: mixed tocopherols, emulsifier: lecithins
• 100 ml of suspension contains: energy value 3292 kJ/787 kcal, fat 84 g, including saturated fatty acids 83 g, carbohydrates 12 g, including sugars <0.5 g, protein 0 g, salt 0.26 g, iron 1538.5 mg
• 10 drops of the product contain: energy value 11 kJ/3 kcal, fat <0.5 g, including saturated fatty acids <0.5 g, carbohydrates 0.3 g, including sugars <0.5 g, protein 0 g, salt <0.005 g, iron 5 mg
• 2 drops contain: iron 1 mg
• 5 drops contain: iron 2.5 mg
• 20 drops contain: iron 10 mg
• 30 drops contain: iron 15 mg
• 40 drops contain: iron 20 mg.

How to use:

• Newborns, including premature infants, infants, and children: 5-40 drops daily
• The daily serving size should be determined by a physician
• Before use, shake the bottle vigorously for approximately 30 seconds to obtain a homogeneous suspension
• Dispense the appropriate number of drops onto a teaspoon and administer directly orally.

Contraindications:

Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the product's ingredients.

• This product should not be used as the sole source of nutrition
• Do not use in individuals without the above-mentioned medical conditions, health disorders, or who have no medical indications for its use
