BioBran

The active substance in BioBran is arabinoxylan, a fibre derived from the hemicellulose B contained in rice bran. Arabinoxylan has immunomodulatory properties, increasing the activity of Natural Killer cells, thus contributing to the restoration of the physiological mechanisms of damaged cell destruction, while also having antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Natural Killer cells are part of the body's immune defence system and are involved in the destruction of abnormal cells. In parallel with stimulating this type of cell, BioBran also stimulates the production of B and T lymphocytes, which play a role in anti-infectious protection.

After 2 weeks of treatment, the activity of Natural Killer cells increases by almost 300%, that of B lymphocytes by 200% and that of T lymphocytes by 150%.

BioBran is a natural preparation containing arabinoxylan (250 mg in tablets and 1000 mg in sachets), tricalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, dextrin and corn starch. BioBran Forte also contains brewer's yeast.

BioBran Forte also contains brewer's yeast, which is rich in beta-glucans, B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12), minerals (selenium, chromium, manganese, iron, zinc, potassium) and essential amino acids (which are necessary for the body but cannot be produced by the body itself and must be obtained from food).

BioBran has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties.

BioBran can be used in cancer patients, in which case, thanks to its antioxidant properties, it intervenes in the process of removing free radicals, protecting the body from the toxic effects of chemotherapy.

BioBran is useful in patients with chronic rheumatism, improves glucose tolerance and plays a role in liver and pancreatic function.

BioBran is also an adjuvant in the fight against infections by stimulating the production of B, T and NK (Natural Killer) lymphocytes.

BioBran is indicated either as a supportive treatment or for preventive purposes in cases of immune system deficiencies, respiratory viruses, HBV and HCV infections and other chronic infections, diabetes, chronic rheumatism, precancerous conditions and various forms of cancer, reducing the harmful effects of chemotherapy.

Currently, there are two pharmaceutical forms of BioBran available on the market: powder divided into sachets in a concentration of 100 mg and tablets with a concentration of 250 mg.

For BioBran, the recommended daily dose is determined based on body weight, with a minimum of 30 g of arabinoxylan per day.

For BioBran tablets, it is recommended to take 4 tablets after meals for the first 2 months, at least 30 mg/kg/day. The dose is then reduced to 4 tablets/day (regardless of body weight). The maintenance dose is 2 tablets after main meals or a single dose of 4 tablets.

For BioBran sachets, it is recommended to take 2-3 grams per day or at least 30 mg/kg/day, representing 2-3 sachets per day. The duration of treatment is 60 days. The maintenance dose is 1 sachet per day.

BioBran can be taken safely for months without any risk of intolerance. There are also no known side effects associated with long-term use of BioBran.

The manufacturer does not report any side effects associated with BioBran, even after long-term use of the supplement.
