Bronhoklir is a herbal cough suppressant available in syrup form, including pre-measured 5 ml sachets. There are specific combinations available on the market for smokers, to relieve the discomfort caused by dry coughs and to normalise the concentration of mucus in productive coughs.

Indications
Bronhoklir is a product with an emollient effect on the respiratory tract, which reduces irritation and coughing. Bronhoklir dry cough is a syrup based on marshmallow and chamomile flower extract, indicated for the relief of respiratory tract irritation caused by coughing. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect and supports the immune system due to its high vitamin C content. Bronhoklir productive cough contains coltsfoot extract and cultivated thyme extract. It has immunostimulatory and anti-inflammatory properties and normalises mucus production. Bronhoklir for smokers is a syrup specially designed to reduce discomfort caused by upper respiratory tract irritation and smoker's cough resulting from smoking.
Dosage and administration
The syrup is usually dispensed in Bronhoklir sachets containing 5 ml per sachet. The recommended dose is 3 Bronhoklir sachets per day for a period of one week. The dosage is similar for Bronhoklir dry cough, Bronhoklir productive cough and the version specially designed for smokers. Bronhoklir dry cough can be administered to children over 3 years of age and adults.
Bronhoklir productive cough can be administered to children over 12 years of age and adults.
Contraindications
There are also some contraindications for Bronhoklir dry cough, productive cough or the version for smokers. This syrup is contraindicated in case of allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product.
Interactions with other medicines and food
It is generally safe and no interactions are known. However, for safety reasons, it is advisable to inform your doctor about any medications you are taking.
Side effects
