Cimeosil gel is a scar gel that is colourless, odourless and allows the skin to breathe. If the applied surface is still wet, it is recommended to wipe off the excess with a compress. The gel dries in 10-15 minutes, allowing make-up to be applied without diminishing the effect of Cimeosil. It is not necessary to cover the treated area with a bandage. A 14 g tube is sufficient to treat an 8 x 10 cm scar for 3 months if applied in a thin layer.
Cimeosil gel is a medical silicone which, when applied to the skin, forms a permeable, very thin and transparent membrane.
