Citibac

Each Citibac tablet contains: 500 mg of citicoline, 100 micrograms of selenium, 15 mg of zinc and 120 mg of bacopa monnieri.

Citicoline is a substance that is converted into cytidine and choline immediately after ingestion.

Cytidine is the main component involved in the synthesis of uridine, a substance involved in cellular RNA synthesis, and choline is a substance used for the synthesis of certain neurotransmitters (acetylcholine). 

The Citibac dietary supplement is administered in certain states of physical or mental overload or stress in order to help maintain normal cognitive function and reduce oxidative stress. It is also beneficial during periods of convalescence, helping to restore immunity through its own mechanisms. Due to its bacopa monnieri content, it can also play an adjuvant role in improving concentration and memory in cases of intellectual overload, and can be successfully administered to pupils, students or people who are experiencing a stressful period at work.

This dietary supplement improves memory, helps improve mental performance, increases attention and contributes to the restoration of cognitive abilities in people who have suffered from certain neurological disorders. 

The Citibac dietary supplement is recommended to be administered as follows: one tablet per day with a sufficient amount of liquid, at any time of the day.

Citibac is available in pharmacies or health food stores in boxes containing 20 drinkable vials or in boxes containing 30 tablets. The Citibac supplement is manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Naturpharma. 

Some very rare side effects (less than 1 in 10,000 users) have been reported, including: headache, dizziness, changes in blood pressure (high or low blood pressure), hallucinations, difficulty breathing, gastrointestinal changes (vomiting, diarrhoea), skin changes (redness, eczema, itching), swelling of the extremities (hands and feet).

These side effects vary from person to person, and the risk of occurrence is higher with longer exposure.

If such unpleasant symptoms or any others occur while using Citibac, it is recommended that you stop taking it and seek medical advice.

Citibac is contraindicated for people with known allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to citicoline, bacopa monnieri extract, zinc, selenium or any of the ingredients in the preparation.

This preparation should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women or to children under 12 years of age.

If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding, the use of Citibac is contraindicated because there is insufficient data to confirm the safety of this product during these periods.

Citibac may interact with medicines containing L-Dopa, such as those used to treat Parkinson's disease, but it may also interact with medicines containing meclofenoxate (a nootropic medicine used to stimulate cognitive function).

To prevent interaction with these medicines, it is recommended that Citibag not be taken during the aforementioned therapy.

To be sure that the supplements or medications you are taking do not interact with Citibac, it is recommended that you seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

Both Neurovert and Citibac contain citicoline and bacopa monnieri as active ingredients. Citibac also contains minerals such as zinc and selenium. However, both supplements are recommended for restoring cognitive function in both young and elderly people, helping to maintain concentration and improve memory through ingredients that restore neural structure and help reduce oxidative stress.
