Bacterial plaque is an accumulation of bacteria that adheres to the surface of the tooth.

Bacterial plaque is formed in two stages:

In the first phase, a film of saliva that is not contaminated with bacteria is deposited on the tooth surface. Later, a multitude of microorganisms will join the film of saliva deposited in the previous phase. The daily accumulation of bacterial deposits results in the formation of bacterial plaque. If they are not removed after each meal, these deposits will harden (calcify) and turn into tartar.

Tartar is a source of retention of food deposits and bacteria that subsequently favor the appearance of dental problems or even gum infection (gingivitis, cavities, etc.)

DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:

It is administered orally, with food, once a day depending on weight:

• Dogs and cats weighing up to 10 kg: 0.5 g (1/2 teaspoon/day)
• Medium dogs 10-25 kg: 1g (one teaspoon / day)
• 25 kg: 2 g (two teaspoons / day)
