The Diather Ovulation Strip Test is a rapid test designed to detect fertile days from a female urine sample. It uses the so-called "LH Peak" phenomenon, that is, a sudden increase in the concentration of luteinizing hormone, which occurs in a woman's body in the middle of the menstrual cycle.

Ovulation test - when to do it?

Hormone levels rise just before the most fertile day of the menstrual cycle. The increase in the hormone LH causes ovulation, that is, the release of a mature egg ready for fertilization from the ovary. Ovulation (ovulation) usually occurs 24 to 36 hours after the LH surge and is when you are most likely to get pregnant. The released egg enters the fallopian tube, where it can be fertilized by sperm within 24 hours. However, you should know that ovulation may not occur every cycle.

The Diather test detects LH at a concentration of 40 mlU/ml and above. Taking the test is very simple and quick. This involves dipping the test strip vertically into a fresh urine sample and reading the result within 5 minutes.
