The medical device in a ready-to-use prefilled glass syringe contains a transparent, clear, viscous, sterile, pyrogen-free solution of sodium hyaluronate. The indication for use of the preparation is the treatment of pain accompanying osteoarthritis (OA). Hya-Joint injections are especially recommended after arthroscopy procedures.

What properties does hyaluronic acid have?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide that is an important structural component of the skin, subcutaneous and connective tissue, occurring in the form of synovial fluid. Hyaluronic acid is identical in all living organisms and highly biocompatible. The active ingredient of the medical device Hya-Joint is obtained in the process of bacterial biofermentation, which means that there are no animal proteins in the final product.

Hya-Joint:

• creates a protective barrier for the joint,
• protects the synovial tissue,
• supports the renewal of articular cartilage.

Each ml of Hya-Joint medical device contains 10 mg of sodium hyaluronate with an optimal molecular weight of 1.2 million Da dissolved in physiological serum (25 mg/2 ml). The product is intended for single use and can be administered by intra-articular injection by qualified medical personnel at the doctor's order.
