The drug belongs to a group of drugs called choleretics, selective spasmolytics of the biliary tract.

The drug contains hymecromone, which increases the production and secretion of bile, relieves pain in biliary problems by relaxing painful spasms of the smooth muscle of the gallbladder, bile ducts and especially their sphincters.

It eliminates chronic constipation caused by a lack of bile in the intestine.

Indications: 

After consulting a doctor, the tablets are used

• for diseases of the gallbladder and excretory bile ducts, for gallstones, for chronic inflammation of the gallbladder, for biliary colic, for disorders of the motility and tension of the smooth muscle of the bile ducts, after gallbladder surgery
• for chronic constipation
• for digestive problems, after acute inflammation of the liver and chronic liver disease
• for some examinations and medical procedures on the biliary tract.

How to use:

• Dosage and dosage schedules
• Adults and children over 14 years of age: usually 1 tablet 3 times a day. In case of diarrhea, the dose should be reduced
• The coated tablets are taken before meals, swallowed whole, unchewed with a small amount of liquid
• The tablets should not be chewed or crushed.

Warnings:

• The safety of the drug has not been proven during pregnancy. The drug can only be administered for a short time during pregnancy in acute conditions, but its use should be consulted with a doctor
• Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment
• The drug should not be used in children and adolescents under 14 years of age
• The drug is contraindicated in patients with severe liver dysfunction or in patients with severe kidney dysfunction
• Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed during treatment
• The drug contains lactose and sucrose.
