KELO-COTE® Scar Gel UV is a patented, self-drying silicone gel for the prevention and treatment of raised scars, such as hypertrophic scars and keloids.
KELO-COTE® UV scar gel demonstrably makes scars flatter, softer, and smoother. It alleviates scar-related discomfort and itching, and reduces skin discoloration.
UV rays can negatively affect the wound healing process and delicate scar tissue. Hyperpigmentation and sun-induced redness can result. For this reason, fresh scars should be protected from the sun and UV rays.
KELO-COTE® Scar Gel UV with SPF 30 was specially developed to protect scars from the harmful effects of the sun. The sun protection ensures that the scar is protected from UV radiation and thus prevents dark pigmentation.
KELO-COTE® Scar Gel UV is ideal for face, neck, hands, upper body and other areas of skin exposed to the sun.

KELO-COTE® UV Scar Gel is intended for the prevention and treatment of fresh scars, including hypertrophic scars and keloids, following general surgical procedures, cosmetic procedures, injuries, wounds, and burns. KELO-COTE® UV Scar Gel is also suitable for children from three months of age and for use on sensitive skin, the face, and the eyelids.

Application:

Apply KELO-COTE® UV Scar Gel in a very thin layer to the affected area of ​​skin twice daily and allow the gel to dry. If KELO-COTE® UV Scar Gel has not dried within 3-4 minutes, you have probably used too much. Carefully remove the excess gel and then allow the skin to dry completely. Once dry, cosmetics or sunscreen can be applied over the KELO-COTE® UV Scar Gel. Recommended treatment duration: At least 2-3 months. For very large or older scars, longer treatment may be necessary.

KELO-COTE® scar gels can be used alternately with KELO-COTE® spray and scar patches. This alternation can be done, for example, on a day/night cycle. However, silicone scar patches, gels, and spray should not be used simultaneously (on top of each other/in multiple layers).

This product should not be used if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the above-mentioned ingredients.
