Properties:
It is a food supplement containing Quatrefolic®, a 4th generation active folate for preconception, pregnancy and breastfeeding. It provides 800 µg of folic acid, representing 400% NRV*. Folic acid is essential for the health of the baby, being involved in the prevention of neural tube defects. It is recommended to take it from the first weeks of pregnancy. To be effective, folic acid must be easily absorbed by the body. NatalVit ProFolic contains a natural form of folic acid, with high absorption and is easier to metabolize than regular folic acid.

Indications:
- during the preconception period (in planned pregnancies);
- in the first trimester of pregnancy;
- during breastfeeding, for folate intake through breast milk in newborns with folic acid deficiency.

Active ingredients (per tablet):
Quatrefolic® (methyltetrahydrofolic acid – glucosamine salt), providing 800 µg of folic acid, representing 400% NRV*.

Ingredients:
Microcrystalline cellulose (bulking agent), corn starch (bulking agent), povidone (thickening agent), vegetable magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), Quatrefolic (methyltetrahydrofolic acid-glucosamine salt), providing 800 μg of folic acid.

Method of administration:
1 tablet per day, for a minimum of 4 – 6 months (or as recommended by the specialist):
- preconceptional: 2 – 3 months;
- during the first trimester of pregnancy
- postnatal: 2 - 3 months after birth.

The treatment can be started on any day of the month, regardless of whether the user is menstruating or not. If the tablet is forgotten on one of the days, the treatment is restarted the next day, but the dose is not doubled.

NatalVit ProFolic is also administered during menstruation. There is no need to take breaks while taking NatalVit ProFolic. NatalVit ProFolic is administered throughout the entire pregnancy.

NatalVit ProFolic is administered preconceptually (in the period before conception) and postnatally (the period of 2-3 months after birth). The cure can be followed in association with fertility stimulation treatments prescribed by specialist doctors.
