P harmoVit ® Fermented red rice is a food supplement in capsules designed to supplement the daily diet of adults. Each capsule contains 72.50 mg of red rice extract standardized to 4% monacolin K, providing 2.90 mg of monacolin K per daily dose.
Monacolin K – properties
Monacolin K is also known as lovastatin. It is a multifunctional chemical organic compound from the group of naturally occurring statins. It is produced in the fermentation process of rice grains with the participation of Monascus purpureus fungi. This process leads to the formation of so-called fermented red rice.
PharmoVit ® fermented red rice capsules do not contain anti-caking agents or dyes. Their composition is also free of gluten, lactose and soy, so the preparation can be consumed by people allergic to these ingredients. A package of 120 capsules is enough for 3 months of supplementation for 1 adult according to the recommendations.
