Elastic mesh tubular bandage for secure fixation

The STÜLPA Fix r.4 tubular mesh bandage is an elastic fixation bandage with a high cotton content that is particularly quick and easy to apply. It provides secure and lasting fixation of dressings and padding material without the need for complicated bandaging techniques. Its special mesh structure makes it suitable for fixation bandages of various types and sizes. The bandage is especially intended for use on the legs and feet of adults and on the torso of children.

The elastic tubular mesh bandage offers a high level of comfort, enhanced by its high cotton content. It can be cut at any point without tearing or fraying, allowing for individual adjustment to the required length. The bandage is sterilizable (steam A 134 °C) and therefore suitable for applications requiring sterile technique. Thanks to its elastic structure, the tubular mesh bandage adapts flexibly to the specific body region and reliably holds padding material in pressure-sensitive areas.

Application

The tubular net bandage is pulled over the affected area to secure underlying bandages or padding. For adults, it is primarily intended for use on the legs and feet, while for children it is used on the torso. Cut the tube to the desired length; the edge will not fray or tear. Ensure the bandage is applied snugly but not constricting. If necessary, the tubular net bandage can be applied in multiple layers to increase the secure hold.

Warning notices

The tubular mesh bandage should not be applied too tightly to avoid restricting blood flow. Regularly check the underlying skin for pressure sores or irritation, especially in areas prone to pressure.
