Cantalin Micro is a dietary supplement containing a combination of micronised diosmin and hesperidin, which helps maintain normal blood flow in conditions such as chronic venous insufficiency (varicose veins, oedema, venous ulcers, haemorrhoids) and associated symptoms (sensation of heat, burning, tingling, heaviness or fatigue in the legs). This micronised form facilitates the absorption and rapid action of the active substances.
Cantalin Micro is recommended for people who want to maintain healthy veins and prevent or treat symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency.
What does Cantalin Micro contain?
Cantalin contains the active ingredients diosmin and hesperidin. These are natural ingredients from the bioflavonoid family and are found mainly in citrus fruits.
Diosmin - works by increasing venous tone and improving blood circulation in the veins, which helps reduce the symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency, such as swelling, pain and heaviness in the legs. Diosmin can also help reduce inflammation and symptoms associated with haemorrhoids.
Hesperidin - is a flavonoid found mainly in citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruit and lemons. It is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It has also been studied in relation to a variety of health benefits, including reducing inflammation, improving cardiovascular health and stimulating the immune system.
How is Cantalin Micro administered?
Cantalin Micro is administered daily, 2 capsules for symptoms of venous insufficiency, one capsule at lunchtime and one in the evening.
For acute haemorrhoidal attacks, Cantalin Micro is administered as 6 capsules for 4 days, followed by 4 tablets per day for the next 3 days.
