Perfect for protecting post-operative and traumatic wounds with moderate exudate, in situations where protection against water is needed, e.g. in the shower or at the pool. The dressing is also suitable for use after disinfection, cleaning of wounds, etc.

What makes Cosmopor ^® Waterproof 10 cm x 8 cm dressing unique?

The outer layer of the Hartmann Cosmopor ^® Waterproof dressing is made of a transparent, semi-permeable polyurethane film. It allows the free passage of gases and water vapor. At the same time, it creates a barrier for water and bacteria. This does not interfere with the free breathing of the skin. The absorbent layer is covered with mesh, which prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound and reduces the discomfort associated with removing and replacing it with a new one.
