Ear hole hygiene gel 5 ml
Description
Care for newly pierced earlobes & piercings
Freshly pierced earlobes and piercings require special care, as they are small injuries that are prone to infection. These infections can occur immediately after piercing or even years later. Early symptoms include persistent redness, burning, itching, or swelling, which is why it's important to act quickly to prevent the infection from worsening.
Thorough cleaning of the affected areas is crucial, especially with more severely inflamed wounds. Hands must be washed thoroughly beforehand. It is then recommended to treat the ear or piercing hole twice daily with a gel specifically formulated for ear piercing hygiene, available from pharmacies or well-stocked jewelry stores. Earrings or the piercing itself should also be carefully dabbed with this gel before insertion.
In cases of particularly severe inflammation, wearing earrings or piercings should be avoided, and ear piercing hygiene gel should be applied several times a day instead. Additionally, care should be taken to avoid cosmetic residues such as hairspray, hair gel, or shampoo around the ears, as these can cause further irritation.
