Healthy Vision SoftMelts Childlife Essentials, 27 Tablets, Secom

Visual acuity represents the ability of the eye to distinguish the shape, size and outline of objects.
Constant exposure to light and oxygen favors the production of free radicals in the retina. The damage of photoreceptor cells induced by light is directly correlated with the wavelength, type and time of exposure, but also with the intensity of the light.
Currently, exposure to electronic devices is a frequent habit, and the long-term effects are not yet well defined.
As sources of blue light radiation (eg, cell phone, tablet, computer screen) become a concern for parents, supplements for children should provide support in maintaining the health of the visual system.
maintaining normal vision and improving visual acuity by:
» antioxidant support in the protection of photoreceptor cells: the two hydroxyl groups in the chemical structure of lutein and zeaxanthin are responsible for neutralizing reactive oxygen species
» supporting the normal functioning of the retina: the optical filtering capacity of lutein and zeaxanthin offers protection to the photoreceptors
» supporting the elasticity and permeability of the blood vessels in the retina: it helps in the fight against the harmful effect of free radicals
» visual acuity support in low light conditions:
▪ favors the increase in the optical density of the macular pigment
▪ vitamin A is a precursor of rhodopsin, an important retinal pigment for visibility in low light conditions, especially at night
» maintaining a physiological level of collagen at eye level: favors the biosynthesis and stabilization of collagen fibers.
