herpotherm® neo is a patented medical device for the local treatment of accompanying symptoms of herpes (herpes simplex labialis) such as pain, burning, itching, tingling or a feeling of tightness.

Instructions for use:

herpotherm® neo is indicated for self-application by adults and children aged 12 and over. For children under 12 years of age, the device should only be used with adult supervision.
People who have difficulty perceiving the visual or auditory signals of the device should be assisted by an adult when using it.
Children under 7 years old often cannot yet understand the connection.
Understand the difference between a short heat treatment and its positive benefits. Therefore, please carefully consider whether symptomatic treatment with herpotherm® neo is suitable for your child. Please also remember that children's skin is still developing and may therefore be more sensitive to heat stimuli. Do not use the device on children under 3 years of age.

Notes:

herpotherm® neo must not be used on or in the case of

• Eyes and eyelids

• mucous membranes

• open wounds, damaged skin (e.g., open blisters)

• Scalding or burn of the skin

• Frostbite

• Tumors and malignant changes of the skin

• known increased algesia (increased pain sensitivity)

• In cases of small-fiber neuropathy, allodynia, and hyperalgesia

• Individuals with known reduced pain and temperature sensitivity.

• Furthermore, the device must not be used immediately after applying ointments, creams, lotions and other preparations to the area to be treated.
