MODE OF ACTION OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES

Tryptophan stimulates the production of serotonin in the brain, increases the resistance of dogs and cats to stress and is responsible for inducing a state of well-being. Valerian, due to its content of valerianic acid and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), reduces the feeling of anxiety and has a mild sedative effect. The mechanism of action is similar to that of benzodiazepines, the effect setting in quickly. Chamomile extract (Matricaria chamomilla) has an anxiolytic effect. Apigenin in chamomile extract binds to benzodiazepine receptors, having an anxiolytic and mild sedative effect. Rhodiola rosea is a plant rich in substances that support the body's homeostasis, increases resistance to stress factors and fatigue. Salidrosides are the substances responsible for the long-lasting effect of Rhodiola rosea. The substances contained improve resistance to stress by increasing the amount of serotonin and by limiting excessive secretion of corticotropin. L-theanine is a substance found in green tea leaves. It helps reduce anxiety and improves cognitive function. It has neuroprotective properties, with a relaxing and sedating effect. It also helps maintain adequate levels of GABA, serotonin, and dopamine in the brain.

Administration: Dogs and cats up to 15 kg - one capsule per day. Dogs over 15 kg - 2 capsules per day.
