Description
A patented, self-drying, transparent silicone gel for scar treatment. It dries quickly, forming a flexible, impermeable film that creates a protective barrier against chemical, physical and microbial agents, while helping to hydrate the skin.
This gel creates an environment that promotes scar maturation by normalizing collagen synthesis and improving the aesthetic appearance of the scar.
Additionally, it helps protect scars from the harmful effects of the sun, preventing sun-induced redness and hyperpigmentation, while improving the overall appearance of the scar.
It is recommended to additionally protect scars with sunscreen, applied every two hours during sun exposure. Infants and young children should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
KELO-COTE UV is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from trauma, accidental injuries, surgical interventions and burns.
It is suitable for face and body.
KELO-COTE UV can be used on joints, folds, hairy areas and large scars, such as those caused by burns or major trauma.
KELO-COTE UV is suitable for use in children over 3 months of age.

How to use
Make sure the affected area is clean and dry. Trim the applicator tip with clean scissors before application. Apply a thin, even layer using a clean finger twice daily.
KELO-COTE UV should be applied daily, 30 minutes before the first sun exposure. In addition, sunscreen should be applied at least every 2 hours. For maximum effect, KELO-COTE UV should remain in contact with the skin for 24 hours. After the gel has dried, sunscreen or other cosmetics can be applied to the affected area. Close the cap after use.
If KELO-COTE UV does not dry within 4-5 minutes, you have probably used too much. Gently wipe off the excess and allow to dry.
The minimum recommended treatment time is 60-90 days. Larger and older scars may require longer treatment, and if scar improvement is visible, it is recommended to extend the use of the product after the first 90 days of application.

Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third-degree burns and open wounds.
KELO-COTE UV should not be used in dermatological conditions that compromise the integrity of the skin.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
KELO-COTE UV may stain clothes if not completely dry.
Keep away from heat sources and do not smoke during application or while the product is drying.
Keep out of reach of children.

Conservation
Store below 25°C.
Do not use after the expiry date (EXP) stated on the packaging.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
