Nasal ointment, Nisita, 20 g, Engelhard Arzneimittel

Properties:
Nisita nasal ointment is used if the nasal mucosa is dry:

• As a supportive treatment in case of stuffy nose, such as, for example, in colds;
• For moistening the nasal mucosa if the atmospheric air is dry;
• For removing dry crusts.

Dry nose is a frequent problem. Not only does it affect all age groups, but it can appear throughout the year. When dryness occurs in the nose, the crusts not only persist, but can even become painful. The risk of infections is increased, breathing, smell and taste are affected.

Composition:

100mg ointment contains 2.8g sodium chloride and 7.2g sodium bicarbonate. The other ingredients are: lanolin, lemon oil, soft white paraffin, medium chain triglycerides, liquid paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol. It does not contain preservatives.

Administration method:

1 cm of ointment is administered in each nostril, several times a day. the tip of the tube is inserted as deep as possible into the nostril, the tube is compressed to remove the ointment and the nostril is gently massaged to evenly distribute the ointment on the surface of the nasal mucosa. The inner surfaces of the nose can be lubricated with a cotton swab on which Nisita nasal ointment has been applied. The ointment can be used several times a day, especially in the evening, before going to bed.
