Coenzyme Q10, also called vitamin Q10, ubiquinone or ubidecarenone, is one of the most important components of the respiratory chain. It occurs in the mitochondria of plant and animal cells and is highly fat soluble. To increase the absorption of coenzyme Q10, an oil capsule and a combination of two oils were used: MCT (medium chain triglycerides) and coconut oil.
