A tall black elder bush can be found all over Europe. It is densely covered with large, ovoid leaves with jagged edges. In late May and June, creamy, small elderflowers bloom and umbels up to 25 cm in diameter are collected. In summer, fruits are formed - small, black clusters with shiny skin. They are filled with precious juice, which is a treasure of vitamins and unique nutrients.

Elderberry is one of the elements of the beautiful Polish landscape. It grows on the edges of forests and fields, along roads and in our gardens. It has been valued for centuries for its wonderful healing properties. Black balls can be used as a raw material to prepare, for example, jellies, jams, syrups, juices and even wine. Excellent elderberry preserves will strengthen everyone, especially in unpleasant wet and gray weather.
